Beauty and hair center
The goal is to create an environment that feels feminine and seductive, generates a positive attitude and trust, and offers a natural and comfortable atmosphere where self-esteem can be enhanced. This was Vitale’s starting point for developing the interior design of a business committed to the latest techniques in hair treatments since 1989. The aim is to create a business that exudes positivity, sophistication, elegance, and matches the innovative treatments offered. To make well-being visible and immerse the client in a space where they feel taken care of, aligning the brand image with self-esteem in a wellness environment.
The hairdressing salon expanded its space from 35 to 75 m² in order to provide a more complete aesthetic service experience. The interior design program includes a product display and service area with a waiting zone, a cutting and washing area, a manicure and pedicure section, and a “beauty” space for makeup and extensions.

The project uses natural materials in delicate textures that enhance warmth with indirect lighting. Marble finishes in different formats connect with the perception of beauty and well-being.
The façade of the salon opens up to the outside with large windows and a hexagonal ceramic mosaic covering. The reception area emerges behind a spectacular curtain that serves as a brand display and creates a photo booth. The waiting area follows, connecting to the cutting stations.
The cutting and washing area evokes traditional women’s vanity tables with a play of circular mirrors surrounded by a large backlit curtain that provides a warm ambient light, perfectly suited to the functional needs of the salon. A central carpentry unit covered in mirrors serves as a wardrobe and hides the washing area, ensuring the required privacy. The space’s functionality is further enhanced by the creation of an office area used for preparing hair dyes and storage.
The manicure and pedicure area is designed with a spa-like feel, featuring hexagonal mosaic tiles, upholstered benches, and plant elements that immerse the client in a relaxing experience.
“Beauty” space
The “beauty” space is placed separately, creating an ideal setting for transformation. It is dedicated to the most advanced hair treatments, which require intimacy, privacy, and trust.

Before and After
In the first assignment, the design covered the original space of the salon, which had been in operation for its first 25 years. In a second phase, just six years later (after the business’s success and rapid growth), the adjacent unit was annexed. This expansion allowed the business’s façade to stretch up to the corner of the neighboring street.
